Shopping is so much more than buying what you need. Since it is more convenient for people to reach out online campaigns, they care about awareness is more than ever. Besides people, brands are also more driven about their social responsibility and a few brands have set perfect examples. Programs like Breast Cancer Awareness, when rehearsed by household names like Forever 21 and Ralph Lauren, it is hard to ‘not notice’.
It’s October and officially the Breast Cancer Awareness month. If you want to support the cause, these are the stores helping breast awareness to spread.

It has been straight fifteen years since Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony campaign was first launched. It was never discontinued and fashion line is quite popular among the circles. The collection’s charity (25% of retail price) is donated to organizations in US and UK. Ralph Lauren intends to fund advertising activities besides the counter advertising in its stores.
This October, there will also be Pink Pony Walk in Hyde Park and staff of RL will be attending it. Rest of fundraising activities by the brand’s team will continue all year long.

Men have been focus of their campaign. It’s a smart move to stand out and include men in this important cause. The campaign which is named “Don’t Stare, Save a Pair” features a collection which consists of number of text shirts with inspirational quotes about fighting with cancer. $1 will be donated to breast cancer prevention programs and the store is welcoming consumers to buy more from their marked collection to help the cause.
Nordstrom
Support those who have been through pain. That is how Nordstrom does it. The store has started Breast Prosthesis Program which offers intimates for people who had mastectomy or lumpectomy. It is also usual for the store to campaign to spread awareness at their important events like
store openings and others.

Partnered up with Susan G. Komen, Area Trend is actively participating in letting their caring customer support their cause. A part of what you shop from the Area Trend’s not so specific but mostly pink collection will go to the funds for breast cancer awareness in fore mentioned organization. You can get the exclusive collection at more than half discounts and you will still get to contribute.
