Followed by his sound disgust about his soldiers wiping their noses with sleeves, Napoleon came up with a solution. He introduced the buttons on the jackets’ sleeves, as he got tired of his soldiers who used to wipe their runny noses on the sleeves of their jacket. That is how the button on jacket sleeves were invented, and now we love this fashion and love to have trendy and good-looking buttons for a perfect wear.
